Form is one of the more observable and intentional features of sculpture. When combined with other elements such as line, shape, texture, space, colour and value, the viewer is directed towards a deeper understanding of the work. Artists from the Sculptors’ Society of BC present works that search for the limit of form, pushing recognizable physical objects such as the animal, the human figure and geometric shapes toward new directions of visual expression.
