Passion, Reason, Idiocy is a multi-venue curated Exhibition featuring artists of the 2025 Eastside Culture Crawl. Pendulum Gallery is pleased to participate as one of the three cross-city locations for this curated exhibition, giving a downtown presence for this popular East Side open-studio event. The artists in this exhibition have been selected based on their reflection on the emotional, rational and foolish elements of their practices. Whether painting, photography, sculpture, printmaking or craft, the works in this exhibition reveal their makers’ unique lived experiences and personal artistic vision.
More than 500 artists will open their doors and welcome tens of thousands of visitors for the 29th annual Eastside Culture Crawl Visual Arts, Design & Craft Festival, held November 20 – 23, 2025 across Vancouver’s Eastside Arts District. With a multitude of artistic offerings on display, the festival offers a full slate of events and activities, including a multi-gallery, juried preview exhibition, artist talks, demos and workshops, and open studio visits.
Passion, Reason, Idiocy is a multi-venue, salon-style juried exhibition featuring 80 Crawl artists taking place at Pendulum Gallery, the Cultch, and Alternative Creations Gallery. 2025 ESCC Jurists are Paul de Guzman, Eri Ishii and Hugh Kearney.
